Photograph (and 1 copy). Black and white photo showing a steel lattice transmission line tower and the Detroit Edison Marysville electric power plant. A U.S. Coast Guard buoy tender is docked in front of the plant and the tugboat, G. F. Becker, is carrying a power line across the St. Clair River. The power line will then be raised over the river to form an interconnection between the Marysville electric power plant and Ontario Hydro transmission lines located just south of Sarnia, Ontario. Three power lines have already been raised across the river and are faintly visible in the upper area of the photo.
