Photograph (and 1 copy). Black and white photo showing the tugboat, G. F. Becker, and barge on the St. Clair River. The tugboat is lashed to a barge which is being used to carry power lines across the river. The power lines were then raised over the river to form an interconnection between the Marysville electric power plant and Ontario Hydro transmission lines located just south of Sarnia, Ontario. Steel lattice transmission line towers and coal piles at the power plant property can be seen in the background. The stern section of a U.S. Coast Guard buoy tender is docked in front of the plant and can be seen at the far right side of the photo. A U.S. yacht ensign can be seen in the lower right foreground.
