Photograph. Black and white photo showing a large cable reel, the Detroit River, and the Detroit Edison Delray electric power plant. The cable reel is probably located on the deck of the tugboat, G. F. Becker, which was involved in the aerial power line construction across the Detroit River. The aerial power lines formed an interconnection between the Delray electric power plant in Detroit and the Ontario Hydro J. C. Keith Generating Station in Windsor, Ontario.
