The lunch was held as part of the dedication ceremony for the recently completed power interconnections across the Detroit River and the St. Clair River between the Detroit Edison Company and Ontario Hydro. The ceremony was held on December 18, 1953, at the Detroit Edison Marysville electric power plant. The image shows several attendees who are seated at the head banquet table including Walker L Cisler (center left, facing camera) who was the President of Detroit Edison and G.
