Photograph (and 1 copy). Black and white photo showing the Geddes Dam and hydroelectric power plant on the Huron River near Ann Arbor. The view shows the river and dam in the foreground. Power plant buildings can be seen in the left background area of the photo and several houses are visible in the right background. Three overhead power lines can be seen near the top of the photo which run from the left side of the power plant complex. Detroit Edison began purchasing water rights and property for dam construction on the Huron River in 1905.
