Photograph. Black and white photo that shows a group of Detroit Edison linemen who are eating lunch in a school cafeteria. A typewritten note attached to the verso shows "Linemen relax over a hot meal served at Mayville High School. Five schools in the Thumb offered morning, noontime, and evening meals to fuel hundreds of linemen through their exhausting 16-hour days." Presumably, this photo was taken after a major ice/snowstorm had passed through the area.
