Photograph. Black and white photo that shows two Detroit Edison linemen who are eating lunch in a school cafeteria. A typewritten note attached to the verso shows "Detroit Edison linemen Ron Smith of Imlay City and Nick Galkin of Lapeer found a welcome meal waiting for them at the Mayville High School. Five schools in the Thumb provided hot meals morning, noon, and night for linemen working to restore service to the hardest hit areas." Presumably, this photo was taken after a major ice/snowstorm had passed through the area.
