Photograph. Black and white photo of three female employees of the Detroit Edison Company. The women are seated at office desks and are looking at a large engineering drawing. The name, "Miss J. Jeffrey," can be seen on a small sign at the far right side of the photo. A typewritten label on the verso shows "Occupations for women with electric power companies like Detroit Edison include technical and administrative positions. These women compute electric loads, read graphic load charts and record information on maps for the planning and project engineering department.
