Photograph. Black and white photo of a workman at the Detroit Edison Delray electric power plant. He is painting a large flat panel that is part of an outer housing for the turbine generating unit. Probably, this outer housing helped to dampen noise when the unit was operating. The number, "74550-290," is handwritten on the verso.
