Print. Sepia-toned print of a window display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The display features a young child sitting at a table with his or her head bowed; an unmade bed and washing table are at opposing ends of the table. A jacket and change of clothes are hung on the rear wall of the display; affixed to the rear wall are images of a church, young child, and dogs, also a calendar notes it is December, 1926. Signage in the foreground of the display reads, "Forgotten, This scene is a reproduction of the famous cartoon by Tom May of Detroit, which was one of the inspirations of the Goodfellow Movement... The J.L. Hudson Company."
