The three Wise Men are presenting gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph at the stable while a donkey looks on. Signage affixed to the foreground of the display reads, "And the Wise Men came bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to Jesus in the manger." The date, photographic sequence number and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "19-12-44; 22013-3x; Davis B. Hillmer."
