Black and white photograph overlooking the layout in the Wolverine and Western HO-scale model train exhibit. Two truss bridges cross a large body of water in the center of the layout. At the far left corner of the layout, a hill with several tunnels has been sculpted. A Coca-Cola billboard stands above one of the tunnel entrances. On the right are rows of tracks, some carrying trains. A backdrop with a painted skyline along the bottom runs along the right edge of the layout. Beyond the glass barrier on the left side of the layout a display entitled, "Spires of Detroit's Oldest Churches," is visible. "Model Railroad scenery by Museum Preparatory Staff, layout by Wolverine Model Railroad Club," is typewritten on a label affixed to the verso.
