Black and white photographic print of a diorama depicting James Sterling warning Major Henry Gladwin of Pontiac's Rebellion. Signage affixed to the rear of the diorama reads, "After the ball, James Sterling barely had time to get out of his fancy wig and into his everyday clothes before he burst into Gladwin's quarters. 'Major, you can't go through with this conference or we will be murdered on our door steps!" The diorama was created by Mr. Bartlett Frost and displayed at the Detroit Historical Museum. The date is stamped on the verso, "Dec. 11, 1962."
