Signage affixed to the rear of the display reads, "Spring-ware, These 'sprigged-flower' patterns on a hard bone china body were very popular between 01830 and 1850. The designs are hand-painted and are not specifically identified. A number usually appears on the underside of the pieces which may be the pattern or artists identification number." Also, signage in the upper right reads, "Hand decorated soft paste, c. 1830. Note, extra deep saucers and luster decoration on one example."
