Typed on the verso, "Souvenir plate of Washington D.C. and pitchers reflect the diversified collecting interests of Mrs. Albert Thompson (upper right); Mrs. Charles Conzelman's teapots are distinguished by their unusual patters and shapes (middle shelf); Birds are the special interest of Mrs. Edwin Boyes. Plates with Audubon reproductions, glasses and a figuring are evidence of this (lower left)."
