Black and white photographic print of a close view of the post cards from the Wolverine Post Card Club which were featured in the Collector's Corner Exhibit, titled, " That This Nation Might Live," displayed inside the Detroit Historical Museum, March 1965. The post cards feature images of prominent me1n associated with the Civil War. Signage affixed to the upper right side of the exhibit reads, "1 - Father Corby - Chaplain of the New York Irish Brigade, Remembered in the Battle of Gettysburg for his application to duty, cheering his men on, and his devotion to a cause he deemed right; 2 - John Brown - Abolitionist fanatic whose abortive attack on Harper's Ferry in 1859 resulted in his trial and hanging by the Virginia authorities; 3 - Major General George Gordon Meade - commander of all federal forces in the Battle of Gettysburg who personally directed the victorious troops; 4 - Federal Leaders of the Civil War - Sheridan, Foote, Grant, Sherman, Farragut, Porter; 5 - General Robert Edward Lee - Commander of the Confederate Forces; 6 - General Robert Edward Lee - Commander of the Confederate Forces; 7 - Lee and His Generals - Shows the Confederate High Command: Lee himself, 'Stonewall' Jackson, Joseph E. Johnston, J.E.B. Stuart, Fitzhugh lee, and others; 8 - Sam Davis - Tennessee's favorite Confederate hero, captured by federal troops while carrying valuable confederate papers. He refused to reveal their source and was hanged at Pulaski, Tennessee, November 1863; 9 - Jefferson Davis - of Mississippi, President of the Confederate States of America by unanimous choice; 10 - Confederate Leaders of the Civil War - Jackson, Johnston, Lee, Buchanan, Longstreet, Mitchell; 11 - Albert Sidney Johnston - Commander of the Confederate Troops at Shiloh, died here on April 6, 1862."
