Black and white photographic print of a close view of the post cards from the Wolverine Post Card Club which were featured in the Collector's Corner Exhibit, titled, " That This Nation Might Live," displayed inside the Detroit Historical Museum, March 1965. The post cards feature images from differing Civil War battles, as well as associated monuments, sites, and President Abraham Lincoln. Signage affixed to the upper right corner of the exhibit reads, "2 - Original Walnut Stairway Home in Springfield, Illinois. Lincoln bought the home in 1844; 3 - Old Los Court House where Lincoln practiced Law, Fairview Park, Decature, Illinois; 4 - Site of Ford's Theatre, now known as the Lincoln Museum, where the 16th President was shot; 5 - The chair in which Lincoln was seated, the play bill he held, and the shawl he wore on the evening of his death; 6 - The assassination of Lincoln, April 14, 1865, by John Wilkes Boothe, in the box at Ford's Theatre; 7 - Death of Lincoln as depicted by the London Wax Museum at St. Petersburg Beach, Florida; 8 - Broken Shackles - A grateful emancipated slave approaches Lincoln with outspread arms; 9 - Old slave stock - At the St. Louis Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana; 10 - A 1909 post card on the centennial anniversary of Lincoln's birth; 11 - Lincoln watches troops embarking to attack Norfolk, an operation be helped plan. With Lincoln are Secretary of War Stanton and Secretary of Treasury Chase."
