Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior Christmas display at the J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A large Christmas tree is affixed atop a retail display and adorned with ornaments, candy canes, gingerbread men, and twinkle lights. Two young children are at the base of the tree, each holding an object in hand and debating where to place it on the tree. Signage in the front of the tree reads, "Tree of Christmas Goodies." The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "27285-12x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." Also, the photographer's name and location are stamped on the verso, "Davis B. Hillmer Commercial Photographer, 8825 Second Ave., Detroit, Michigan."
