The stage featured in the foreground of the City-County Building, and is adorned with patriotic bunting and American flags. A man in period clothing is performing with his guitar. Seated on the stage are several community leaders who are participating in the festivities; they include, Hudson Mead, Prentiss Brown, R.E. FitzPatrick, Msgr. Edward J. Hickey, Solan Weeks, and Glenn Stille. Typed on the verso, "City-County Bldg., Detroit, Michigan, July 11, 1971, Commemorating 175th Anniversary of Gen. "Mad" Anthony Wayne's taking control of Detroit from the British."
