A large crowed has gathered in the yard of a Detroit residence, on Kirby Street, facing a stage adorned with patriotic bunting. Typed on the verso, "Detroit Historical Museum Ground Breaking Ceremonies; Monsigneur Hickey delivers the invocation." Also, the photographer's name is stamped on the verso, "by Detroit News Staff, Photographer Styrlander, Reporter."
