Black and white photographic print of school children at the Detroit Historical Society's Book Fair. A young girl is seated atop a table, and is looking at a book, a second young girl stands next to her, and two boys stand in front of the girls. There are many books displayed on the table for viewing. Typed on the verso, "Children's Book Fair, 1956; School Children visiting fair." Also, the photographic sequence number, and the date are hand-written on the verso, "115741; 11/16/56."
