Print, Photographic

One sepia-toned photograph of schoolchildren who are seated in a classroom (most likely at the Lyster School in Detroit). The photo looks across the classroom from the front and shows a corner of the teacher's desk in the left foreground. Approximately 30 children are seated in rows of desks which can be seen in the foreground and background. A large blackboard can be seen along the wall in the left background and three large windows can be seen along the wall in the center background.

Eva F. Ricci was a teacher in the Lyster School in the late 1890's until June, 1903. Probably, this photo was taken of students in her classroom.
