Displayed in the window are copies of the book, "Life of an American Workman," by Walter P. Chrysler. An image of Chrysler is affixed to the rear of the display, signage adjacent to the image and surrounded by velvet drapes reads, "Life of an American Workman, by Walter P. Chrysler in collaboration with Boyden Sparkes, An Informal Biography of one of the Head of America's Greatest Industries, Book Shop, Mezzanine Gratiot, Section C." Also, signage in the bottom left corner of the display visible in the foreground reads, "Hudson's suggests that you invest regularly in United States Savings Bonds, Issued on our 11th Floor, Former Section A." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the verso and read, "10-17-1950; 25123-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
