Detroit Fire Department Engine Company No. 30
Black and white glossy photo showing Engine Company No. 30. The view shows 14 firemen who are seated in or standing beside a fire department rescue car. The vehicle (made by Packard) is parked on the street in front of a brick building that has a large doorway and is probably the fire station. "30 D.F.D." can be seen on the side of the vehicle beneath the driver's seat and the license number, "5966, Mich" is painted on the radiator grill. The vehicle is right-hand drive since the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. The number, "KZ71," is written in the lower right corner of the photo. A blue ink stamp with handwriting on the verso shows "Detroit Historical Museum, Subject: Engine #30, first rescue car" and "Packard."
