Photograph (and 1 copy). Sepia-toned photo showing five Detroit Police officers seated in a Police Department automobile. The automobile is parked in front of an ivy-covered wall that surrounds an arched entry gate at the Belle Isle Police Station. Five of the officers are wearing dark caps and one is wearing a white cap. Also, the automobile is right-hand drive since the steering wheel is located on the right side of the vehicle. Handwritten text on the verso shows "Patrolman Sgt. Frank Vanderver, rear right seat, retired from 5 Precinct as Sgt. in 1925" and "Photo at Belle Isle Police Station."
