Down Town Detroit Enveloped in Fog

Black and white aerial photo of the tops of several of downtown Detroit's buildings visible about a dense, dark layer of fog. The Buhl Building, Penobscot Building Annex, Penobscot Building, Dime Building, David Stott Building, Guardian Building, First National Building, Vinton Building, Barlum Tower, Barlum Hotel, Water Board Building, and Hudson's stand out from the fog. A Detroit News Airphoto form stamped on the verso records the date as December 15, 1936, the plane as the EARLY BIRD, the photographer as Don Walker, the laboratory technican as Charles Vallee, and the compass direction as roughly 210 degrees from north.
