View of Playground From Second Floor Classroom

Black and white photographic print mounted on board depicting an elevated view of the playground of Clarence M. Burton International Elementary School taken from one of the windows overlooking it. The majority of the students in the playground are lined up along the fence at its perimeter, although several are playing on the swings and other playground equipment. The sandbox is flooded. A sliver of James Scott's mansion is visible on the photo's left edge across Park Avenue. Detroit's skyline is visible along the upper edge of the photo's background.
