Color slide of MISS BARDAHL at a break wall with damage to her bow and right sponson. The picture was probably taken at the 1960 Detroit Memorial Race when rookie driver Jim McGuire ran into the seawall after coming out of the upper (Roostertail) turn. A crowd of spectators are standing near the break wall, which was located at Waterworks Park. Another boat can be seen on the opposite side of the race course, passing the Detroit Yacht Club.
