Color slide of a Highland Park Lions Club float in a parade along Woodward Avenue in Highland Park, taken from the front of Sam's Party Store on the east side of the street at 13523 Woodward. The float consists of a stake truck, decorated with a gold lion statue atop the cab, a banner with the text, "Annual White Cane Sale, 'Help the blind, Highland Park Lions Club' draped along the side of the bed, and a calliope inside of the bed. A young man in a blue shirt, and several other men in boater hats ride in the truck bed as well. The Wayne Oakland Bank at 15304 Woodward Avenue stands across the street in the background.
