Ashby at Mt. Elliott Cemetery. Beneath a tent a man in a peaked cap presents a folded flag to the family beside the casket. Firefighters in dress and ceremonial uniform stand by in the foreground, and in the background. The base of the Firefighter's Fund Memorial is visible behind the tent on the left.

The slide is housed in an Ektachrome cardboard mount, numbered "37" in pencil.
