Color 35mm slide of a photo taken during the unrest of 1967 by Detroit Fire Department photographer Capt. Joseph A. Mancinelli. The image shows a Madison Heights Fire Department firetruck on Grand River Avenue. Several firefighters in t-shirts and helmets ride on the rear of the truck along with members of the Michigan National Guard. Nickies Furniture stands in the background, its exterior blackened from fire.
The slide is housed in an Kodachrome cardboard mount, stamped "MAY 68F1."
