Transparency, Slide

Color 127 format slide of a photo taken during the unrest of 1967 by Detroit Fire Department photographer Capt. Joseph A. Mancinelli. The image shows a group of fire trucks near the intersection of 12th Street and Taylor Street, as taken from the south corner. The Double Value Meat Center stands on the west corner on the left side of the frame. Behind the trucks, signs are visible for Parr's Bar, the Reliable Rug Company, Lafleur Photo Art Studio, and Cancellation Shoes along the northwest side of 12th Street. Firefighters spray the scorched upper level of the Reliable Rug Company.

The slide is housed in a Kodacolor cardboard mount, stamped with "MAR 68R."
