The image shows a Royal Oak Fire Department firetruck parked on the north corner of Grand River Avenue at Hancock Street. Two firefighters gather a hose on top of the truck, while a soldier stands by below. In the background a soldier and a man stand against the wall of the Bevis Hotel Liquidating building.
The slide is housed in a Kodachrome cardboard mount, stamped "MAY 68F1."
