Charlevoix St. Alert

Color 35mm slide taken during the events of July 1967 showing two white women walking along the sidewalk on Charlevoix Street, as three members of the 82 Airborne Division kneel with the rifles behind a fence bordering the sidewalk. One of the women cares a pack of bottles of Faygo Cola. A sign on a utility post reads "Food Center," above an arrow pointing across the street. Other pedestrians are visible further ahead along the sidewalk.

The slide's paper frame is printed with "25, Aug 67F3," and the title is handwritten on the frame in pencil.
