Packard Motor Car Co. advertisement. Printed in black ink on white paper. The advertisement shows a drawing of a left side view of a Packard automobile at top and a painting of the Kangxi Emperor above. A caption reads "A thousand years before the Christian era the Chinese had developed the art of fine lacquer work. Notable examples of their craftsmanship were produced in the reign of K'ang-hi (A.D. 1661-1721)." The text of the advertisement describes the "artistic talent of a high order in many fields" evident in the "beauty of Packard design." The advertisement is dated "1927" in blue ink at bottom right.
