Agreement

One agreement, dated 9 August 1870, between Henry Baby of Detroit and the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company, also of Detroit. The agreement is handwritten in black ink on white paper that has pre-printed light red lines and a single blue left margin line. The agreement indicated that Henry Baby was chartering the propeller vessel, Concord, to the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company for the sum of seventy-five dollars. Various other details were discussed although the agreement did not give a specific termination date.
