Agreement

One legal agreement (and one copy) made by Harris T. Dunbar, William E. Hardison, Richard H. Goode, Oliver E. Dunbar, and William J. Dugan, who were the principal shareholders of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The 2-page agreement, dated February 3, 1927, is typewritten in black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Old Scotch Bond, Made in U.S.A." The owners agreed to make a mortgage upon the company property in the amount of $150,000. The agreement was signed by each of the five shareholders on the first page and was signed by a notary public and the company secretary, Frederick C. Slee, on the second page. The two pages are bound together in a legal-style paper binder which has two metal grommets at the top edge. Typewritten text on the outside of the paper binder shows "In the Matter of the Corporate Mortgage of Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Co. Consent of Shareholders." Printed black text shows "Slee, O'Brian, Hellings & Ulsh, Counselors at Law, Buffalo, N.Y."
