Agreement

One agreement, dated April 28, 1932, between Elbridge G. Newhall, Jr., Edward L. Newhall, and Detroit Trust Company and Homer R. Shafer. The document consists of three typewritten pages which describe a lease and sale agreement concerning three parcels of land on Grosse Ile. The agreement included legal descriptions of the land parcels as well as a discussion of the lease arrangement with regard to a sale of the property to Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. Signatures of the various parties are shown on the last page. The three pages were bound together in a legal-style, gray/tan paper binder which has two brass grommets at the top edge. Typewritten text on the outside of the binder reads "Elbridge G. Newhall, Jr., et al. to Homer R. Shafer" and small printed text shows "Henry B. Graves and Charles H. Hatch, Attorneys-at-Law, 73 Forest Avenue West, Detroit, Mich."
