T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M.

George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars double LP "T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M.," released by Epic Records, featuring "If Anybody Gets Funked Up (It's Gonna Be You)." A painting of George Clinton superimposed over a computer rendered image of the interior of the Holy Mothership graces the cover of the gatefold jacket. Within the gatefold are numbered paintings and ink drawings of the members of the group, as well as a larger image of Clinton, and stage scene. The key to the images of the members is provided on the sleeve of the first record along with credits, a comic strip concerning Dr. Funkenstein's continuing struggle against Sir Nose, and caricatures of numerous contemporary hip hop, R&B, and rock artists. The second record's sleeve bears an image of an alien standing outside the Holy Mothership on one side, and a comic of Funkenstein overseeing the reconstruction of the Holy Mothership. Clinton is pictured on the cover in a "flying" pose surrounded by small cartoons of a variety of characters.
