Non-Partisan City Office Ballot
One sample "Non-Partisan City Office Ballot" for the Detroit Primary Election of October 8, 1929. The ballot was printed in black text on white paper and listed the names of candidates who were running for three City offices. Three candidates were listed for Mayor, four for City Treasurer, and fifty for Councilmen. The upper right corner of the ballot has perforations for an easy tear-away.
