One blueprint drawing showing the overall design of the paddle wheels for the passenger steamships, Eastern States and Western States. The drawing shows plan and cross section views for the proposed side paddle wheels as well as dimensions and design notes. A title block near the lower edge shows that the drawing was prepared by "Detroit Shipbuilding Company" at a scale of 3/4 inch = 1 foot and is dated August 7, 1901. The steam engine size is given as 52"-72", 72"x84". A plan sheet number in the lower right corner shows "3822."
