One blueprint drawing entitled "Dossin Great Lakes Museum Building Plan for the Detroit Historical Commission." The drawing shows an overview of the site layout on Belle Isle including the proposed building and entrance driveway as well as existing roads and parking areas. Future building expansion and parking areas are also indicated. The title block along the right edge of the sheet indicates that the plan was prepared by William Edward Kapp, Architect, at a scale of 1/32 inch = 1 foot and has a most recent revision date of October 13, 1958.
