One blueprint drawing entitled, "General Arrangement of Bulk Lake Freighter, Hull Nos. 287 and 288." The drawing shows plan, profile, and midship section views of the proposed steamship. The title block near the center shows that the drawing was prepared by the "American Ship Building Company, Cleveland, Ohio," at scales of 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated October 26, 1920. The name of the steamship, "Merton E. Farr," is handwritten on the bow of the freighter profile view.
