General Arrangement of Sprinkler System

One blueprint drawing entitled, "General Arrangement of Sprinkler System," for the passenger steamships, SS Greater Detroit and SS Greater Buffalo. The drawing shows plan views of the Orlop, Texas, and Pilothouse decks along with the proposed layouts of sprinkler lines and sprinkler heads. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "American Shipb'ld'g Co., Eng. [Engineering] Dept." at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated October 31, 1923. The plan number is shown as "65-199."
