Outboard Profile,
[SS Detroit Edison]

One blueprint drawing entitled, "Outboard Profile." The drawing shows a starboard side exterior profile view of the self-unloading steamship, Detroit Edison. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing (Hull No. 418) was prepared by "Manitowoc Shipbuilding, Inc.," at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated June 2, 1954. The plan number is shown as "51872." The blueprint has a large number of handwritten design notes that are shown in red pencil at the bow and stern areas of the ship drawing.
