One blueprint drawing entitled, "U. S. Coast & Geodetic Survey Steamer, Surveyor; Type Sections." The drawing shows four half cross-section views and one full cross-section view of the hull and decks of the survey vessel. The drawing is shown at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is dated November, 1918. Handwritten text beneath the title block label in the upper right corner shows the names, "Advance," and "Pioneer," which were probably sister ships to the "Surveyor." Black ink stamps in the upper left and lower right corners show "U. S. Lake Survey, Detroit, Mich., Oct. 10, 1929."
