United States Steamer Michigan
One blueprint drawing (Sheet 3) entitled "United States Steamer [USS] Michigan." The drawing shows a starboard side half-section plan view and two half cross-section views of the sidewheel steamship. A note beneath the title block indicates that the vessel was "Built at Erie, PA, 1843 - Scrapped 1948." The drawing was done by Frank J. Slyker at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot for the Museum of Great Lakes History (later the Dossin Great Lakes Museum) and is dated May 18, 1954.
