Book, bound in a red leather cover with golden highlights, containing 19 pages of names of contributors to the restoration of the Dossin Great Lakes Museum's Gothic Room, which was originally a portion of the men's smoking lounge aboard the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company's passenger steamer CITY OF DETROIT III. The left page facing each page of the list is printed with the passage:

Recorded in this GOLDEN BOOK are the names of the friends of the museum who contributed to the restoration of the GOTHIC ROOM.
The pages of this books are turned each week so names of all those who contributed appear in rotation.
