Issue one of the five-issue limited comic book series Abbott, written by Saladin Ahmed. This version features the variant cover with art by Tula Lotay. The issue was published by Boom! Studios, and released in January of 2018. This story, set in Detroit in 1972, introduces Elena Abbott, a reporter who discovers a series of supernatural murders occurring against a background of tensions revolving around the murder of an African American teen by police.
