Propositions
One record book of "Propositions" which was kept by the "Garfield Circle, No. 16 Ladies of the G.A.R., Dept. of Michigan." The book has a hardcover with a marble black/white design and a thin strip of dark red leather along the spine. It contains 44 un-numbered pages that have pre-printed lines and columns. Handwritten text lists the names of persons who were being proposed for membership along with dates, sponsor names, remarks, and whether or not the person was elected. Dates range from May 7, 1900, to January 7, 1931. Most of the pages are blank.
